Who Was Seth In The Bible?

Seth, a son of Adam and Eve (and the third one named in Scripture), was born after Cain murdered Abel (Genesis 4:8). Eve believed that God had appointed him as a replacement for Abel and named him Seth, which means “set in place of” (Genesis 4:25). Later, when Seth was 105 years old, his son Enosh was born (Genesis 4:26), and Enosh continues what is sometimes called “the godly line of Seth” that leads to Abraham.

The story of Cain’s killing the righteous “seed” (Abel) and God’s raising up another “seed” (Seth) becomes the central theme of the divine plan. Evil is always attempting to rid the world of good, and God is always thwarting evil’s plans. There is always a Seth to replace Abel. It was through the seed of Seth that Jesus was born (Genesis 5:3–8, 1 Chronicles 1:1, Luke 3:38).

After the birth of Seth’s son Enosh, the Bible tells us, “At that time men began to call on the name of the Lord” (Genesis 4:26), which confirms Eve’s foretelling of the purpose of Seth’s birth. The word call also means “to proclaim,” which refers to men testifying about God to one another. It was through Seth’s family that organized, corporate worship of the one true God began to enter the fallen world. Though the descendants of Seth are not the first in Adam’s line to develop inventions or advances in civilization, they are the first to praise and worship God.

From Seth come the patriarchs, the nation of Israel, and eventually Christ. And it’s Christ who not only destroys Satan but also condemns sin and death (Luke 3:23–38). It was through Seth that the “Offspring of the Woman” came who would crush the serpent’s head (Genesis 3:15).

MISSION & VISION

MOTTO:

WE GROW TREES!

SLOGAN:

WE SERVE  T.E.A. (Transforming Minds * Empowering Lives * Activating Purpose)

OUR. MISSION & VISION:

To position and make ready through discipleship and impartation until we all come into maturity.

The 4 Roots of Our Tree of Life

SHIFTING

"By shifting our focus from what we do to what God does, don't we cancel out all our careful keeping of the rules and ways of God commanded? Not at all. What happens, in fact, is that by putting the entire way of life in its proper place, we confirm it." (Romans3:31 MSG)

We will be shifting from a cultural way of seeing life to a Biblical way of seeing life. God wants to reposition us from a place that we have grown accustomed to or complacent in while transforming our minds to the mind of Christ. It's time to SHIFT!, to new heights and deeper depths. We must begin to dig deep into prayer and communion with God in other to receive the next paradim move!

EQUIPPING

May he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is

pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen (Hebrew 13:21)

Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. (Ephesian 4:12)

When God calls us, He equips, provides, qualifies, and enables us. In other words, He want to make us ready to do His will in the earth. God has written a plan for your life. You may not see it from where you are. You may not know it from how you think, You may even think it's too late, but nothing is too late with God and we are the agents of God to help assist you in discovering His plan for your life.  During this equping stage, He will supply you with exactly what you need to move into destiny.

TEACHING

Teach me your ways, O'LORD that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you. (Psalms 86:11).

Show me the right path, O'LORD: point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God

who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. (Psalms 25:4-5).

Before any soldier enters into battle, there is a period of time when he must be trained; trained to fight the battles ahead of him or her. Before we attempt to launch out into the deep, we must know a few things about the depth and nature of the water we will be jumping in.  So training becomes a necessary part of the plan for your life. We intend to teach you  how to learn the mind of God, follow His heart, find your rhythm for your life, and how to use the weapons God has given us to fight this good fight of faith. We must know how God thinks, how he moves, and all that pertains to His ways and not ours.

HARVESTING

They sow their fields, plant their vineyards, and harvest their bumper crops. (Psalms 107:37)

He said to his disciples, 'The harvest is great, but the workers are few. (Matthews 9:37)

God told us to go out to the highways and by-ways of life and compel them to come. Once we gather them, we disciple them to be good soldiers of the Lord by bringing them into maturity. See in maturity you are not easily tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. In maturity you are able to discern good from evil and have a keen sense of wolves and sheep. He wants us to assist in perfecting the saints for the work of the ministry. The ultimate goal is to produce mature saint ready to do His will in the earth and to replicate more just like Himself.  Maturity discipling to produce Maturity!

DELIVERANCE IS NECESSARY!

We are a deliverance ministry so it doesn't matter what you call it (demonized, possessed, oppressed, etc.), if we are in demonic bondage, whether we need to tear down a stronghold, break up a legal ground, cast a demon out, or all three... it's still deliverance, because it's setting the captives free. Casting out demons, is just part of the overall ministry of deliverance.

  • Inner healing:

Many times when a person has been abused, rejected, wounded, or hurt in some way, there is an emotional wound that needs to be healed. Demons will use these wounds and weaknesses against the person, as leverage to hold them in bondage and get them to re-open doors so that they can re-enter. Inner healing is a vital step in the overall restoration process that needs to take place in the lives of many who are seeking deliverance.

  • Tearing Down Strongholds:

Strongholds are incorrect thinking patterns that people develop over time, and are often set up and nurtured by demons through lies and deception. Demons thrive on strongholds, and use them to hang around a person and torment them. We teach on Strongholds to bring clarity into exactly what a stronghold is, and how to go about tearing them down. Failing to tear down strongholds can hold up a deliverance and prevent us from walking in complete spiritual freedom.

  • Removing Legal Rights:

Legal rights are things that give demons permission to enter and remain in our lives. Before demons can often be cast out, it is important to address and remove these legal rights. Failing to remove legal rights can hold up a deliverance very easily.

  • Casting Out The Demons:

This requires two basic elements: knowledge of your authority in Christ Jesus over the powers of the enemy, and faith in that authority. Demons are cast out with a simple spoken command, such as, "I command the spirit of fear to come out in the name of Jesus!"
