ARE YOU JUST A FORM?

Has the acceptance of the form of godliness become our idol. We have become so comfortable with just the form of godliness that we have made the form more important than God Himself. We have replaced the relationship with actions of works in ministry. We put more work into building the monuments, and each other that we have forgotten the main purpose and thats to draw men back to God. All we do is recycle each other from one event to another and never compel those who are outside of our four walls to come and dine with us.

We have become performance based!

Where there is not the life of God in the soul, neither holiness nor godliness follows upon the ordinances; and thus we may have around us baptized worldlings, and men who go from the table of the Lord to drink the cup of devils. It is sad that it should be so. Such persons are guilty of presumption, falsehood, sacrilege, and blasphemy.

The form of godliness involves attendance with the assemblies of God's people. Those who have professed Christ are accustomed to come together at certain times for worship, and, in their assemblies, they join in common prayer and common praise.

Godliness means we have centered our lives in Christ, and, in my mind, it has two separate but equal parts: We purpose to LIVE like Christ. LIVING like Christ involves our: Heart: We LOVE like Jesus. Hands: We ACT like Jesus.

The works of the ministry is not masquerading as Gods will!
